Millions of Iranians are celebrating in the streets at the prospect that a brutal regime—one drenched in blood and guilty of unspeakable crimes—may finally be coming to an end. Meanwhile, in America, some who likely could not point to Iran on a map lecture the world under the slogan of “no war,” effectively arguing that these tyrants should remain in power and continue their reign of repression.
Calling that irony hardly does it justice.
